CR Definition
In Bahrain, CR stands for Commercial Registration. For all businesses in Bahrain, it is mandatory to register themselves at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism (MOICT). MOICT issues CR certificate to successful registrants. CR allows businesses to commence registered business activities.

CR Number in Bahrain
Since a company is an artificial person, each company in Bahrain has a unique identification number called CR Number. It is issued by MOICT after a successful name reservation.
CR Statuses in Bahrain
A CR in Bahrain may have the following statuses
✓ Active
✓ Active without license
✓ Deleted with payment
✓ Deleted by law
✓ Deleted by law without license.
